Antonio Conte suffers first defeat as Tottenham Hotspur manager
Antonio Conte suffered his first defeat as Tottenham Hotspur manager, after they lost 2-1 to Mura in Thursday’s away Europa League tie.
Two goals from Tomi Horvat and Amadej Marosa gave the Slovenian side the victory against Tottenham.
Harry Kane did score a goal for Conte’s side at the Ljudski vrt Stadium.
Tottenham appointed Conte as their new manager on November 2 after sacking Nuno Espírito Santo.
Conte had led Tottenham to beat Vitesse 3-2 in his first game at Spurs on November 4.
The former Chelsea boss also led his team to draw 0-0 against Everton on November 7 and also won Leeds United 2-1 on November 21.
However, he suffered his first defeat at Tottenham after they failed to beat Mura on Thursday evening.
Conte will now hope to lead Tottenham to victory when they take on Burnley this weekend in the Premier League.
