Barcelona suffer double injury blow
Barcelona have suffered a major double injury blow.
The Catalan club confirmed this in a statement on Sunday that their players, Sergio Aguero and Clement Lenglet will be on the sidelines after picking an injury ahead of their Joan Gamper Trophy clash with Juventus on Sunday night.
The LaLiga giants also confirmed that Philippe Coutinho is in line to feature against Juvetus.
“Philippe Coutinho has been passed fit to return to action but Clement Lenglet and Sergio Aguero are both out,” Barcelona’s statement reads.
“The French defender [Lenglet] has a tendon problem in his right knee and is ruled out, with his return depending on his recovery.
“The Argentine striker [Aguero] has a right calf injury and will undergo more tests to find out the exact extent of the injury.”
