EPL: Berbatov names Man Utd player that is “probably unhappy” with Ronaldo’s arrival
Former Manchester United striker, Dimitar Berbatov, has claimed Edinson Cavani is “probably unhappy” about Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival at the club.
Ronaldo has netted three times in two games for United since he returned from Juventus this summer.
Although Berbatov is delighted to see the 36-year-old wearing the red shirt again, he fears some members of the squad will be “unhappy” about his arrival.
Berbatov is particularly worried about Cavani’s prospects this season, with the Uruguayan legend naturally slipping down the pecking order and handing over the No. 7 shirt to Ronaldo.
“It will be interesting to see how Ole keeps the other players happy. He will have to decide how he uses the likes of Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial.
“This is when managing a talented squad becomes difficult because players will feel hard done by.
“Cavani is probably unhappy. He had a great first season at United and how he’s dropped down the pecking order and lost his number seven shirt,” Berbatov told BetFair.
