EPL: Chelsea agree deal to sell Zouma to Premier League rivals
Chelsea have agreed a £25.6 million deal to sell Kurt Zouma to West Ham, according to reports in France, according to RMC.
Zouma is standing in the way of Chelses completing the signing of Jules Kounde from.
Zouma prefers to join a club in the Premier League with both Tottenham and West Ham showing interest.
However, the Hammers seem to have won the race and are currently on.the verge of finalising a deal for the Frenchman after a breakthrough in talks.
RMC Sport and Telefoot, report that both clubs have agreed and signed the deal while the player’s personal terms are close to being finalised.
The Frenchman is set to sign a five-year contract with West Ham. This is after the Hammers had initially refused to meet Zouma’s £120,000-a-week wage demand.
But Chelsea and the club are now confident of reaching an agreement with the Chelsea centre-back.
Once Zouma is sold, Chelsea are expected to press ahead with the signing of Kounde, who has a £68m release clause in his contract with Sevilla.
