Former Chelsea star, Pat Nevin, has predicted where Chelsea and Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool will finish on the English Premier League (EPL) table this season.
Man City won the EPL title last season ahead of Man United (second), Liverpool (third) and Chelsea (fourth).
However, Nevin believes Pep Guardiola’s side will finish on top of the EPL table again this season ahead of Liverpool, Man United and Chelsea.
He gave his prediction ahead of the 2021/2022 Premier League campaign, which starts on Friday night with Arsenal taking on Brentford.
When asked to give his prediction for the EPL top-four this season, Nevin simply told BBC Sport, “Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool.”
Meanwhile, Man City will kick-start their new EPL campaign against Tottenham on Sunday, while Chelsea will tackle Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Liverpool will clash with Norwich City and Man United will face Leeds United.
