Real Madrid winger, Gareth Bale, will retire from playing football after Euro 2020, Marca reports.
Bale, who spent the 2020/2021 season on loan at Tottenham, wants to end his playing days after this summer’s tournament and will negotiate a €22million payout with Real Madrid around £19million.
The 31-year-old managed just 16 LaLiga appearances for Real Madrid during the 2019-2020 campaign.
The Welsh international fell out of favour with former Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane.

He featured in 20 Premier League games for Tottenham during the 2020/21 campaign.
Bale won four Champions League titles with Real Madrid.
His existing contract with the LaLiga giants will expire next summer.
Meanwhile, Bale may still see a future in football as his former manager, Carlo Ancelotti has been reappointed head coach of Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
