Hazard, three others to leave as Real Madrid eye Rudiger
Real Madrid are preparing to offload four of their players Eden Hazard, Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Isco, as they look to bring in Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger at the end of the season, AS reports.
Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has relied on Eder Militao and David Alaba as his first-choice central defensive pairing for much of the current season so far.
Ancelotti is keen to strengthen his defence and has identified Rudiger as a potential target.
Rudiger’s current contract with Chelsea will expire at the end of the season.
The Germany international is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with another club as early as January 2022.
Real Madrid could be in a position to offer Rudiger a £200,000 a week deal because of the absence of a transfer fee.
Meanwhile, Hazard’s current deal with Real Madrid will expire in 2024, while Bale, Marcelo and Isco will all become free agents in the summer.
