Barcelona has pasted news reports about Cristiano Ronaldo’s positive COVID-19 test, as a warning to their players to stay in line, AS reports.
Ronaldo was the most high-profile player to contract Coronavirus after he was infected while on international duty with Portugal last October.
It caused Ronaldo to miss Juventus’ Champions League group stage game in Turin, a match the Barca won 2-0 thanks to goals from Ousmane Dembele and Lionel Messi.
Although the walls of Barca’s training ground are covered with pictures of Messi, there is also a small dedication to his eternal rival.
It is understood that in one of the dressing rooms at their Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper facility, a story relating to his positive test is pinned up.
It is placed to serve as a warning to Ronald Koeman’s stars to live by the strict precautions in place to keep them COVID free.
