Man City transfer: What Cristiano Ronaldo told me – Juve boss, Allegri
Juventus manager Max Allegri has revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo told him that he has no plan to leave the club for Manchester City or any other club this summer.
Reports went viral during the passing week that Man City have been offered the opportunity to sign the Portuguese superstar.
This is following the departure of Sergio Aguero, who is the club’s all-time leading scorer.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, was said to have made the 36-year-old available to Pep Guardiola’s side for just £25 million
But Allegri, who signed Ronaldo in 2018, said the Portugal captain is staying at the club and never expressed any desire to leave despite his contract expiring next June.
Allegri told reporters during his press conference at the weekend, “He has always trained well, I just read the gossip in the papers. He never told us he wanted to leave.
“Ronaldo told me that he is staying at Juventus.”
