Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has denied reports that Cristiano Ronaldo is trying to influence his tactics.
Addressing the media on Friday, Solskjaer insisted Ronaldo has only had a positive impact since he returned to the club this summer.
A report from ESPN had suggested Ronaldo has asked the Norwegian to change United’s style to increase his goal ratio.
The 36-year-old is said to have demanded sharper and quicker play when distributing the ball in the opposition half.
Asked about the reports, Solskjaer chuckled and told reporters: “That is another one. Wow, what can you answer to that?
“What we speak about us that is between us, but we haven’t had that discussion, put it that way.”
