27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

The world is broken, people are hurting and the future seems to bleak, even the coming generation is not certain of anything. It is only those who are in Christ that are hopeful because of the love of God made manifest in their lives. The gracious nature of the Lord enables us to love the unlovable and impact the life of the helpless and all those around us.

It is our responsibility, as God’s people, to brighten up the lives of others. We should be able to put a smile on the faces of those who are hurting. Beloved, how often do you look for opportunities to lift the lives of those who are down and broken? No matter what your own circumstances are, you can make a difference in other people’s lives. The world actually depends on it.
The world depends on us helping ourselves. Psalms 115:16 says, “The heaven, even the heavens are the Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.” God has given the earth to the children of men. We are born and saved to make a difference in the world. So, whatever you can do to make it better for your fellow men will make a great difference.
You can make a big difference in the lives of other people in various ways. Your goal as a Christian, should be to put sunshine in others’ lives. God wants to count on you for that! I encourage you to intercede for the hurting. Through your prayers, God will intervene in their situation and comfort them. Many of the unpleasant incidents you read or hear in the media should drive you to your prayer closet no matter how near or far away the victims may be. You can also make a difference in the lives of other people by being friendly to them and showing that you care for them. You can encourage them with the word of God and empathise with them. You can sow seeds of kindness into their lives, hear their burden and donate generously (money and other material things) into their lives. Finally, you can make a difference in other people’s lives by doing volunteer work and sponsoring a child, among others.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
- My Father, have mercy upon me, in the name of Jesus.
- O Lord, let me be rightly positioned to carry out Your agenda on earth, in the name of Jesus.
- Wherever I find myself, I shall be an ambassador of Christ, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
- O God my Father, put Your love in my heart for the unloved ones, in the name of Jesus.
- Every power limiting my potential, die, in the name of Jesus.
- O Lord my Father, let me be humble enough for Your use, in the name of Jesus.
- My Father, focus my mind on You, in the name of Jesus.
