NEEDTOBREATHE Announces Feature Film ‘Into The Mystery’ Coming This Fall
GRAMMY Award-nominated rock band NEEDTOBREATHE has announced another new project for fans to get excited about. In partnership with Greenwich Entertainment (Free Solo, Echo in the Canyon, Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice), NEEDTOBREATHE will release the Into The Mystery documentary this fall. A first look trailer of the feature-length film was revealed today and can be viewed below. “We can’t wait to bring y’all into the house for an intimate look behind the scenes into the recording process of Into The Mystery,” the band shared on social media during the announcement.
“At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and without telling a soul, the band decamped to a historic house-turned-recording studio in remote Tennessee to work on new music. Over three weeks, they resided under one roof and handcrafted an album reflective of the turbulent moment that may contain the most important music of the band’s storied career,” the movie’s official bio reads. “Into The Mystery offers a rare look at the collaboration of artists at the height of their creative powers who are struggling with the same fear and isolation that has affected everyone the last 16 months.”
The Into The Mystery documentary was filmed and recorded at Magnolia Acres, Columbia, TN. The movie stars Bear Rinehart, Seth Bolt, Josh Lovelace, Randall Harris and Tyler Burkum alongside special guests Natalie Hemby, Joe Stillwell, David Leonard and Jon Foreman of Switchfoot.
The band’s forthcoming studio album, Into The Mystery, is due for release on July 30 via Elektra Records and is available for pre-order now HERE. An accompanying 38-city fall tour is planned, with tickets available for purchase HERE.
