MEMORISE: But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. James 1:6
READ: James 1:5-8
- If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
- But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
- For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
- A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Isaiah 56-58 , 1 Thessalonians 3:1-13
MESSAGE:
One of my sons had a stomach ache. When he went for a medical check-up, it was discovered that his intestines had been eaten up by cancer. The only remedy was to cut off the intestines which would attract other health challenges such as diarrhoea and indigestion for the rest of his life. In spite of this, he could only live for a few years. He came to the Holy Ghost service and the Lord said there was someone whose intestines had been condemned and He was replacing them with brand new ones. The following morning, he used the restroom and realized that his stool was normal instead of watery as the doctor described. Another medical test revealed that he was completely healed and restored. Hallelujah!
Are you in need of healing? I join my faith with yours to declare that you are rising from that sickness today and your victory is permanent in Jesus name. Amen!
KEY POINT:
Spend quality time to pray for all those who are sick around you today.
HYMN: What A Friend We Have In Jesus
- What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear;
What a privilege to carry
Ev’rything to God in prayer
Oh! what peace we often forfeit,
Oh! what needless pain we bear
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer. - Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged,
Take it to the Lord in prayer
Can we find a Friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrow share?
Jesus knows our every weakness,
Take it to the Lord in prayer. - Are we weak and heavy laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Saviour still our refuge,
Take it to the Lord in prayer
Do thy friends despise,
forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer
In His arms He’ll take
and shield thee,
Thou wilt find a solace there.
