The Carpenters Church Port Harcourt Celebrates 33rd Anniversary with Colors and Grace
The beautiful anniversary and thanksgiving service was held at the church auditorium in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The service was graced by seasoned ministers of the gospel in word & music.
These ministers and other guests traveled from various parts of Nigeria and other part of Africa to join in celebrating the ministry’s 33rd anniversary.
The service was characterised with variety of activities ranging from presentation by the children group, teen group, the Shift group, New Wine choir and other invited guests.
During her remarks at the thanksgiving and anniversary service, Pastor Nkechi Ene, the residing pastor of The Carpenters Church, reminded the congregation of their journey. She recounted how, ten years ago, during their 23rd anniversary, it seemed like everything was lost, and there was no way forward. However, she emphasized that God, in His faithfulness, has not only sustained them but has multiplied His blessings upon them, leading them into a flourishing era.
The sermon for the service was delivered by the highly decorated and respected Pastor Soska Forbes from The Gambia, who graciously accepted the invitation from The Carpenters Church once again.
The service came to an end after the presentation and cutting of the anniversary cake which was followed by the traditional declaration of Psalms 91.
Congratulations are in order for The Carpenters Church and its administrators, who have been blessed with wisdom and have led God’s church to this remarkable milestone.
