The Isaacs Receive Three Prominent Honors This Week
Multi-award-winning The Isaacs is having quite a week as they amassed four awards by Singing News Fan Awards and IBMA (International Bluegrass Association) respectively. Those include Sonya Isaacs Yeary for Singing News’ “Favorite Musician,” The Isaacs for “Favorite Mixed Group,” and “Favorite Album,” for Songs For The Times and as part of the collaborative IBMA 2021 “Album of the Year,” for Industrial Strength Bluegrass: Southwestern Ohio’s Musical Legacy, produced by Joe Mullins. September 14th marked the group’s ceremonious induction into the Grand Ole Opry. Catch them this Tuesday, October 5th as they return to the Grand Ole Opry stage.

Additionally, they will vie for the 52nd Annual GMA Dove Award “Best Bluegrass/Country/Folk Album of the Year” nomination for the 2020 House of Isaacs release Songs For The Times. They will also be performing their current single that night. The awards will be handed out on Friday, October 22nd on TBN.
The Isaacs have won 7 GMA Dove Awards, IBMA’s (International Bluegrass Music Association) and have several GRAMMY nominations for their past two previous projects. From the stages of the Grand Ole Opry to Carnegie Hall, this respected and popular group tours over 100 dates a year and helps fund numerous missions through The Isaacs Foundation.
