Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, has asked the club to make a transfer move for English Premier League star, Adama Traore, this summer.
According to Spanish media outlet AS, Tuchel has put forward his own list of recommendations to Chelsea’s hierarchy, and one of the names proposed is Traore, who currently plays for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Tuchel is eager to complete a deal for the Spanish winger this summer.
Traore’s future at Wolves is unclear following lengthy contract negotiations with the West Midlands club over the past few months.
Wolves still have not managed to strike a deal with Traore and that opens the door to a potential exit given that the player has just two years left on his current contract.
The report added that the Blues have been targeting a deal to sign Inter Milan’s Achraf Hakimi, but the Blues face competition from Paris Saint-Germain and Roma.
Chelsea could switch their attention to Traore if Hakimi opts to move to PSG ahead of the reigning UEFA Champions League winners.
Traore scored two goals and registered two assists in 37 games in the Premier League for Wolves last season.
