Former Chelsea star, Joe Cole, has hailed Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Callum Hudson-Odoi following their Champions League 1-0 win over Malmo on Tuesday night.
Cole said Loftus-Cheek was ‘excellent’ for Chelsea against Malmo, while Callum-Hudson made an impact during the encounter.
Chelsea defeated Malmo 1-0 in Sweden, thanks to Hakim Ziyech’s second-half goal to give Thomas Tuchel’s side all three points against the host.
“It was routine, they got the job done,” Cole told BT Sport.
“It wasn’t amazing, but there were a lot of positives to take.
“Ruben Loftus-Cheek was excellent, he delivered tonight. Callum [Hudson-Odoi] made an impact. They got the points in the bag and they can focus on the weekend now.”
Chelsea’s next game is against Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday.
