VoxMusic Reminds Listeners Of The Faithfulness Of God In “Loyal”
VoxMusic’s new single, Loyal, is available now on digital platforms.
Written at the first-ever Maverick City Songwriting Camp in March of 2020, just before the onset of COVID-19, Loyal was birthed from a desire to speak of God’s faithfulness and loyalty to His children.
“The heart of Loyal is to remind us of God’s consistency and faithfulness, despite our inconsistency and brokenness. Throughout the Bible we see that God’s heart towards our brokenness is kindness and compassion. He fulfills every promise simply because He loves us and it’s His character and nature,” says VoxMusic vocalist Stephanie Taylor.
Inspired by the story of Joseph in the book of Genesis, the worship collective says no matter the situation, listeners can rest knowing God is loyal to His promises.
“The story of Joseph provides a vivid backdrop for the fulfillment of God’s promises over time. From prison to the palace, you see God’s hand on the life of Joseph. God was faithful to His word and though it may not have looked the way Joseph thought it would, it was better and far more creative than Joseph ever could have dreamed. Joseph’s story shows us that God is faithful to complete everything He starts and He will keep His promises faithfully,” Taylor says.
Produced by Scott Packham and written by Sam Heilig, Stephanie Taylor, Josiah Palmer, Nick Morrow, and Boquet Burke, Loyal’s message has already made a mark in the worship collective’s church community of Vox Church, further building anticipation for the impact of the single’s digital release.
“We want listeners to find peace and comfort in the waiting. Most of us have things that we are contending and believing God for,” says Taylor. “Our prayer is that this song will give people language to sing and declare over their situation. Our desire is that people receive a greater measure of faith and be reminded of God’s consistent and loyal nature.”
